Pierre Fernandez (Research Scientist at Meta) will:\n– help you better understand the difference between passive and active detectors through a demonstration of passive detection tools.\n– guide you through the implementation of the greenlist/redlist watermarking technique\, which is employed by LLM providers to watermark outputs.\n– accompany you into the development of an interactive web app\, which will showcase the active detector you built before. \nAt the end of this workshop\, you’ll have gained insights into:\n– how passive/active detectors work and their robustness\, differences\, limitations..\n– understanding how LLM watermarking is performed in practice.
