Emmanuel Cohen

After graduating from the Mathematics / Computer Science department of the Ecole des Ponts et Chaussées, Emmanuel Cohen quickly specialized in Computer Vision. He obtained a Masters with Thesis at the Israel Institute of Technology, where he notably worked on improving textures in images. From 2015 to 2018, he completed a PhD in Computer Vision at Paris Dauphine University. In collaboration with the Langevin INSERM Institute, he is developing Computer Vision algorithms for medical imaging, more specifically Ultrarapid Ultrasound imaging. After completing his doctorate, he joined the start-up DAMAE Medical as an image processing engineer, specializing in the detection of skin cancer by optical imaging. He is now a Freelance Data Scientist and specialized in Computer Vision for the medical field.
