The AI Alliance
The AI Alliance (AIA) is focused on fostering an open community and enabling developers and researchers to accelerate responsible innovation in AI while ensuring scientific rigor, trust, safety, security, diversity and economic competitiveness.

datacraft has just joined the AI Alliance, becoming its First French member.

datacraft
datacraft enables an exchange of best practices between data experts. It is a unique club model, designed to allow data scientists/data engineers to learn from their peers and to allow companies to accelerate their AI/data projects. The First Club opened in Paris in February 2020. It gathers 42 public and private large companies, startups and 600+ researchers and freelance AI experts.

Shared values
At datacraft, we have always been focused on upskilling and education, sharing good practice and bringing AI to any audience: ranging from the highly technical data scientist or machine learning researcher, to business experts and even citizens or students.

We share with the AI Alliance a strong focus on safe, responsible and open development of AI.

Current and future efforts
datacraft already started making meaningful collaborations within the Alliance:

  • Met in-person with Alliance members at the Alliance Vienna meetup
  • With several members, we’re designing a workshop on Open Source, that will happen during the AAAI2025 conference in Philadelphia
  • Participate at the NumHack hackathon as mentor, organized by NumFOCUS, another AIA member.
  • In the future, we plan to reinforce our relationship with the AIA members and promote some projects related to Skills & Education within the Alliance.

datacraft organizes regular hands on workshops – For more information on datacraft programing: https://datacraft.paris/agenda/
